Introduction
The objective of this report is to highlight the key skills that I have learnt over the course of my 12-month placement at the Social Enterprise Unit and the Centre for Voluntary Services. In addition to this, how the Mark Lindgren Memorial Fund has helped me during this time and how this experience has contributed to my future career plans. Over the past year, I have worked at the Social Enterprise Unit and one day per week at the Centre for Voluntary Services. It has been an insightful, eye-opening and valuable experience that will benefit me for years to come. The £300 grant that I was provided with helped me with travel expenses and general upkeep during my placement, as I had to travel between Hertfordshire, St Albans and London every other day. The grant allowed me to effectively maintain a good attendance between both offices, along with my general pay.
